Voyage & Yacht Details
Sold by the cabin on a shared, join-in basis. For a private, whole-vessel overnight charter see the rest of the fleet.
The Best of Andaman cabin charter
This is the one voyage in our fleet that you book by the cabin rather than by the boat. For six days and five nights you share the sailing catamaran Amadeus with a small group of other guests and a crew of three, on a set route from Chalong Bay through Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Koh Muk, Koh Rok, Koh Haa and Racha Yai. It leaves Phuket every Sunday from 25 October 2026.
The price is per person and covers your cabin, full board and the running of the yacht. There are four double guest cabins on board, so the group stays small.
Who it suits
Couples and solo travellers who want several days under sail without paying for a whole yacht. A private overnight charter is priced for the vessel, which makes sense for a family or a group that fills the cabins; for one or two people, a cabin on a shared departure is the less expensive way to reach the southern islands. Solo travellers can take a double cabin to themselves at the sole-occupancy rate.
The trade-off is that the dates and the route are fixed, and the deck is shared. If you would rather set your own itinerary, charter a catamaran privately →
The route, day by day

Day 1 — Phuket, Koh Maiton and Phi Phi Don. The group meets at Klong Bar at 10:30 on Sunday for a drink and introductions while the crew loads the luggage. Once aboard there is a run-through of the boat, a safety briefing and a round of names. The first stop is the bay at Koh Maiton: a swim, a snorkel and a Thai buffet lunch, then a slow circuit of the island, where bottlenose dolphins are sometimes about. The evening is free to walk around the village on Phi Phi Don before dinner back on board.
Day 2 — Phi Phi viewpoint and the sail to Koh Lanta. Early risers can hike to the Phi Phi viewpoint before breakfast. Then the sails go up for Koh Lanta, with time to learn some of the sailing on the way. At Lanta there are water sports and a walk of about an hour and a half to a waterfall. This is the one evening ashore: dinner at a beach restaurant, often with a fire show.
Day 3 — The Emerald Cave and Koh Rok Nok. An early start for the Emerald Cave at Koh Muk and the hidden beach inside it. Lunch is at Koh Rok Nok, one of the better snorkelling stops of the week. If the national park rangers allow it, dinner is a barbecue on the beach; otherwise it is served on board.
Day 4 — Koh Rok, Koh Haa and Phi Phi Leh. A morning hike on Koh Rok — a climb, with the view to show for it — then a sail to Koh Haa for more snorkelling. The afternoon ends at Phi Phi Leh with kayaks and paddleboards out for sunset. After dark, there is a swim in water that glows with bioluminescence.
Day 5 — Maya Bay and Koh Racha Yai. Some of the group go in early to see Maya Bay while others snorkel along the cliffs. After breakfast the yacht sails for Koh Racha Yai, with an afternoon of snorkelling and exploring, a last sunset and dinner on board.
Day 6 — Back to Phuket. A quick morning swim, then all sail set for the passage back to Chalong Bay — usually the liveliest sailing of the trip. Check-out is at 11:00.
As on any sailing trip, the order of stops can change with the wind and the sea state. More on the islands themselves: Phi Phi Islands, Racha Islands and Khai & Maiton Islands.
Cabins on board
Amadeus has four double guest cabins — Chili, Golden, Natural and Indigo — with the saloon, galley and covered cockpit between the hulls and trampolines forward. Cabins are sold as ensuite, with a private bathroom, or non-ensuite, sharing a head and shower, which is €100 per person less on every departure. Either type can be booked by two people sharing or by one guest for sole use.

What’s included
The fare covers five nights in your cabin, the crew of three — captain, cook/stewardess and deckhand/engineer — fuel and berthing, and full board: five breakfasts, five lunches and four dinners, with fruit and snacks in between. The cook prepares Thai dishes daily, and one dinner is a beach barbecue where the national park permits it. Coffee, tea and drinking water are included, along with a welcome drink, snorkelling gear, handline fishing, two paddleboards and two kayaks shared between guests, linen and towels.
Not included: flights, transfers and hotels; the one restaurant dinner ashore on Koh Lanta; national park and entrance fees, which come to about ฿1,350 per person if every stop applies; and drinks from the bar, sold by the can, bottle or glass — a soft drink is ฿30, a local beer ฿80 and a cocktail ฿290.
