Catamaran Charter in Phuket
A catamaran gives you more boat for your money on this coast. Two hulls mean more deck area per foot than any equivalent monohull, markedly less roll at anchor and under way, and a shallow draft that lets you tuck in closer to the beach. For most groups chartering out of Phuket, that combination is simply the better buy.
Why a catamaran in Phuket
Stability is the practical argument. A catamaran sits on two hulls rather than rolling around one, so the motion is far gentler — which matters on the open-water legs out to Phi Phi or Racha Noi, and matters a great deal if anyone aboard is prone to seasickness. Phi Phi yacht charter from Phuket →
Space is the other. The bridgedeck between the hulls creates a wide, flat living area, and the foredeck trampolines add lounging space no monohull of the same length can offer. That is why every one of our large-group and party vessels is a catamaran.
Power, sailing or party
Power catamarans are the workhorses — quick enough for a full day out, stable, and the best value per guest in the fleet.
Sailing catamarans trade some speed for the experience of actually sailing, and are quieter at anchor. Best when the day itself is the point rather than the destination.
Party catamarans are purpose-built for groups — DJ booths, sound systems, sun decks and capacity up to 100. If you are planning an event rather than an outing, start here.
Choosing a size
Under 45ft suits families and small groups on the sheltered east-coast routes. 45–60ft is the sweet spot for 15–40 guests with a full day out. Above 60ft you are into event territory, where deck space and facilities matter more than speed.

Common questions
Is a catamaran better than a motor yacht for a Phuket charter?
For most groups, yes. Catamarans offer more deck space per foot, far less roll, and better value per guest. A motor yacht is the better choice if you want speed to reach distant destinations, or a more enclosed, luxurious interior for a smaller group. motor yacht charter in Phuket →
How much does it cost to charter a catamaran in Phuket?
Catamaran charters in our fleet start from ฿20,000 for a half-day and rise with size and capacity. Crew, fuel, soft drinks, snorkelling equipment and insurance are included on every charter.
Do catamarans help with seasickness?
They help considerably. Twin hulls reduce roll substantially compared with a monohull of the same length, which is why we recommend them for guests who are unsure about time on the water.
