Phuket Yacht Charter Destinations
Six routes leave Phuket regularly, and they are genuinely different days out. The bay you pick matters more than the boat you pick — a fast sport cruiser is wasted on Coral Island, and a 40ft catamaran is the wrong tool for a Koh Hong day in April. catamaran charter in Phuket →
Each route below lists the vessels that suit it and what a private charter costs. Prices are per charter, not per person, and include crew, fuel, soft drinks, snacks, snorkelling equipment, towels, life jackets, insurance and 7% VAT. National park fees are quoted separately on most vessels.

From ฿24,000 per day

Choosing between them
If it is your first charter out of Phuket, Phang Nga Bay is the one to do — the limestone scenery is the reason people come, and it is the only route that stays sheltered all year. If you are travelling with young children, Khai and Maiton are calmer and much shorter runs. If snorkelling is the point of the day, go to the Racha Islands, where visibility is often over 20 metres.
Phi Phi is the most photographed and the most crowded; on a private boat you can be in Maya Bay before the tour fleet, which is the whole argument for chartering. Koh Hong and Krabi is the longer day and the quieter one. Coral Island is twenty minutes out and works as a half day when time is short.

Coral Island is the closest and the only route we run as a half day.
Rates run from ฿24,000 for a half day to Coral Island up to ฿47,900 and beyond for Koh Hong and Krabi, depending on the vessel. Prices are per charter rather than per person, and include crew, fuel, soft drinks, snacks, snorkelling equipment, towels, life jackets, insurance and 7% VAT.
Phang Nga Bay stays sheltered through the May to October green season and remains comfortable when the west coast is choppy. Phi Phi and the Racha Islands are at their best from November to April. We will tell you honestly if the conditions on your dates suit the route you have in mind.
On most vessels, no. National park fees are quoted separately and shown before you book, never added afterwards. They apply to Phang Nga Bay, Phi Phi and Koh Hong among others, and vary by island. The vessels departing Boat Lagoon Marina are the exception: their rates include park and island fees.
