Seabeat Specifications
Departs ONE°15 Marina, Phuket. Up to 30 guests by day, sleeps 6 overnight.
The Seabeat
The Seabeat is a 48ft sailing catamaran working out of ONE°15 Marina on the north-east coast of Phuket. She takes up to 30 guests by day and sleeps 6 below, in 3 double cabins, and runs both day charters and overnight voyages.
Her deck is the reason to book her. The foredeck trampolines and a long shaded cockpit give a group of thirty somewhere to spread out without anyone sitting on top of anyone else, and the saloon opens straight onto the aft deck so the dining table and the water are a step apart. Two hulls also mean a shallow draft, so she anchors closer to the beach than a monohull of the same length.
Who she suits
She sits in an unusual spot in the fleet: cheap enough for a couple to take out for an afternoon, big enough to carry a party of thirty, and equipped to sleep six for two or three nights. Groups book her for a full day out to Racha; families take the five-hour sunset programmes; couples take her overnight to Phi Phi or Koh Hong. Because the day rate is banded rather than charged per head, she gets better value the fuller she is.
What’s included
Every charter aboard the Seabeat includes private use of the catamaran, her captain and crew, a host, food and beverages, and all logistics and liaison arranged by Henley Voyages. Meals are included on overnight voyages, and full board catering can be added to any charter with 48 hours’ notice.
Quoted separately: National Park Fees, Island Fees, At-Island Activity Fees and land transfers. Hours beyond the published charter length are charged as overtime.
Note: day rates are banded by group size — one rate for up to 10 guests, one for 11–20 and one for 21–30. Overnight rates cover the three cabins in use.
Routes and pricing
The Seabeat runs eight published day programmes from ONE°15 Marina — four full days of eight hours and four half days of five — starting at ฿29,500 for a half day in low season. Full days depart at midday in high season and an hour earlier in low season, and all of them come home at 19:00, which puts the sunset at the end of the charter rather than after it.
Overnight, she runs 2 days / 1 night from ฿94,125 and 3 days / 2 nights from ฿115,625. Full rates for every duration and group size are in the pricing table above. Rates are per charter, not per person.
Where she sails
Published itineraries for the Seabeat cover the Racha Islands, Coral Island, the Phi Phi Islands, Phang Nga Bay and Koh Hong Krabi. Each destination page sets out what the route involves, when to go and which other vessels run it.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to charter the Seabeat in Phuket?
Charters aboard the Seabeat start at ฿29,500 for a five-hour half day in low season, rising to ฿41,500 for a full day with 30 guests in high season. Overnight voyages run from ฿94,125 for 2 days / 1 night and ฿115,625 for 3 days / 2 nights. The price is for the whole catamaran, not per person, and covers boat and crew, with food, beverages and a host arranged by Henley Voyages.
How many people can the Seabeat take?
The Seabeat takes up to 30 guests on a day charter and sleeps 6 across 3 double cabins. Day rates are banded — one price for up to 10 guests, one for 11–20 and one for 21–30 — so the rate rises with the size of the group rather than per head.
What is included in a Seabeat charter?
Every charter includes the catamaran, her captain and crew, and food, beverages and a host arranged by Henley Voyages, along with all logistics and liaison. Full board catering is available on any charter with 48 hours' notice, and meals are included on overnight voyages.
What is not included in the charter price?
Not included: marine national park fees, island fees, at-island activity fees and land transfers. Hours beyond the published charter length are charged as overtime and quoted at the time of booking.
Where can the Seabeat go from Phuket?
Day charters run eight published programmes: four full days of eight hours — Racha Cruise, South Coasting, Hey Racha and Island Hop — and four half days of five hours — Hey Junior, Secret Cove, Hey Sunset and West Coast. Between them they cover Racha Yai, Koh Hey (Coral Island), Banana Beach, Koh Bon, Promthep Cape, Nai Harn and Ya Nui.
Can you charter the Seabeat overnight?
Yes. The Seabeat runs 2 days / 1 night from ฿94,125 and 3 days / 2 nights from ฿115,625. Overnight programmes reach Phi Phi, Koh Hong in Phang Nga Bay, Racha Yai and Racha Noi on the shorter voyage, and Koh Haa and Koh Rok, Railay and Krabi, or Koh Muk and Koh Ngai on the longer one. In low season the choice of overnight programme depends on the weather.
Where does the Seabeat depart from?
The Seabeat embarks and disembarks at ONE°15 Marina on the north-east coast of Phuket, which puts Phang Nga Bay and the eastern islands within easy reach and keeps the passage south to Racha and Koh Hey straightforward.
When is the best time to charter the Seabeat?
The Seabeat is quoted in two seasons. High season runs November to April, with the calmest seas and clearest water on the west coast, and carries the higher rate. Low season runs May to October and is roughly ฿4,000 cheaper on a full day; her overnight programmes in that period are chosen to suit the weather on the day.
