Thirty-Eight Specifications
The Thirty-Eight
The Thirty-Eight is a 40ft sailing catamaran running private charters out of Phuket for groups of up to 10. Charters depart from Banana Beach on Koh Hey as either a half day or a full eight-hour day, and the rate covers the whole vessel.
She carries 1 cabin and 2 bathrooms, is run by a crew of 4, and cruises at 10 knots.
Who she suits
A maximum of 10 guests keeps her intimate — couples, families and small groups who would rather not share a deck. The twin-hull layout keeps motion gentle at anchor and under way, and opens up deck space out of proportion to her length. She is the most affordable way into a private sailing catamaran in the fleet.
What’s included
Included on every Thirty-Eight charter: private land transfer, full private use of the catamaran, snorkelling point, snorkel mask & life jacket, towel and cool towel, fancy float, paddle board, fishing rod (3 sets), 1 bottle of sparkling wine, welcome drink, drinking water, soft drink, snack set & fresh fruits, guide or butler service, beach chair at Banana Beach, Koh Hey, first aid and travel insurance.
Quoted separately: national park fees. Optional extras are available on request — a personal photographer, a DJ onboard, onboard massage, extra fishing rods and a GoPro.
