Coral Island — Koh Hae — is the closest proper island to Phuket, about twenty minutes out from Chalong. Half day, sunset, or combined

Coral Island works in three shapes. A 4.5-hour morning charter gets you there before the day-tripper boats. A 5-hour sunset charter runs the other way, anchoring for a swim as the light drops. Best time to go

Year-round, with the caveat that the west-facing beaches pick up swell from May to September. In green season the crew will usually favour the sheltered eastern side.
